How are you connected to the Women’s Foundation?
I just finished my first year of college thanks to a program supported by the Women’s Foundation. It’s a big transition from high school to college and the program was my saving grace.

How has the Women’s Foundation impacted your life?
My parents didn’t really talk to me about college or help me prepare. If I had not been in the program supported by the Women’s Foundation, I would never have been ready for college, let alone be able to afford it.

How do you feel about your life today?
Hopeful, bright, exciting!

Who inspires you?
Lacey Mosely from the band Flyleaf. She came from a large family like I do. She went through a lot of trauma growing up and her message is to become everything that you can be. To push yourself and you can overcome anything.

What is your favorite quote?
Arise and be all that you dreamed.

What is your hope for the future?
My dream is to be a successful woman. I want to be able to support myself, to have a family, to use my talents and skills to be one of the best at the career I will have. I want to be a good wife and a good mother. My dream is to fulfill whatever purpose I have in life.
